The MCT-1 Smart Trigger is a motion capture system that triggers the camera by activating sound, light or an interrupted beam. It comes in a kit with the control unit and a transmitter and receiver plus cables for a camera with a 2.5-inch jack. The control unit is battery or mains powered and requires 4x AA.
