The Boya BY-BM2021R is a supercardioid shotgun microphone designed for cameras, camcorders, and smartphones equipped with a 3.5 mm input. It provides highly directional sound pickup with excellent off-axis noise rejection, ideal for interviews, vlogging, and outdoor recording.
It features a frequency response of 40 Hz–20 kHz, sensitivity of -35 dB ±3 dB, and a signal-to-noise ratio = 78 dB. The microphone is powered directly via plug-in power, requiring no batteries.
Built from durable, lightweight ABS, it includes an integrated shock mount and cold shoe adapter for easy mounting. A foam windshield and furry windscreen are supplied to effectively reduce wind and handling noise.
