The Canon LP-E10 battery is a rechargeable lithium-ion power unit specifically designed to power a selection of entry-level EOS series digital SLR cameras. The battery pack operates at a nominal voltage of 7.2V and offers a typical capacity of 860 mAh, providing the necessary energy for standard shooting sessions and HD video recording. Thanks to lithium-ion technology, the cell does not exhibit memory effect, allowing for partial recharge cycles without compromising total capacity over time or the component's overall lifespan. The external construction is made of high-resistance plastic materials to ensure structural integrity during insertion into the camera's battery compartment and transport. The integrated electronic system communicates with the camera to provide an accurate estimate of the remaining charge displayable directly on the camera body's LCD screen.
