7Artisans 50mm T/2.0 Spectrum (Sony E)

The 7Artisans 50mm T/2.0 Spectrum is a cinema prime lens that offers filmmakers with Sony E-mount cameras access to a bright, controlled fixed lens with the distinctive characteristics of cinema glass. Designed with meticulous attention to image quality, it features a maximum T/2.0 aperture (equivalent to the photographic f/2.0 aperture), ideal for excelling in low-light conditions and achieving an extremely shallow depth of field with a creamy, cinematic bokeh. The all-metal construction encloses an optimized optical design that minimizes focus breathing (the change in focal length during focusing) to minimal levels, ensuring that focus transitions do not alter the composition of the shot. The lens is equipped with standard 0.8 MOD gears on both the focus and iris rings, making it immediately compatible with professional follow focus systems and gear rings for precise and silent control. The de-clicked aperture ring also allows for smooth and continuous exposure adjustments, essential for video recording. This 50mm lens, thanks to its versatile field of view, is perfect for portraits, interviews, and medium-distance narrative shots.
