Ihagee VP Exakta A

The VP Exakta are a line of reflex cameras produced by Ihagee in Dresden from 1933 onwards. The abbreviation VP indicates the film used by these machines, the 127 film also known as the Vest Pocket film. The original 1933 Exakta was not named Exakta A until the introduction of the Model B later that year. This early Exakta had a fabric focal plane shutter with speeds of B, Z, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100, 1/200, 1/300, 1/600 1/1000 and, quite surprising for the era.
