The Meyer Gorlitz Trioplan 100mm f/2.8 is a macro lens for FF and APS-C format, produced from 1950 to 1955 (discontinued). Focusing is by means of Manual Focus. A very simple optical scheme and a 16-blade diaphragm are the main characteristics of the Trioplan 100mm f/2.8, produced by German Meyer Optik from the 1950s. It was a low-contrast portrait lens with a very distinctive rendition, especially at f/2.8 where the search for a pronounced soft effect was evident. When closed at higher apertures the lens behaves as a good medium telephoto portrait lens and delivers rather sharp images.
