Panasonic is pleased to introduce the LUMIX S5D: a new full-frame hybrid mirrorless camera that delivers excellent performance and exceptional flexibility in both video and stills. Based on the compact design of the LUMIX S5, the new LUMIX S5D is compatible with DJI's LiDAR autofocus system. By combining the S5D camera with DJI's LiDAR Range Finder module and RS 3 Pro Gimbal system, distance measurement information is sent to the camera via USB and the camera manages focus without the need for a special motor, making it more manageable due to its more compact size and offering greater shooting freedom. In addition, the lens does not require calibration, making set-up even faster. Thanks to the LiDAR system's 43,200 high-speed detection points within a distance of 14 metres, it is possible to realise extremely fast focusing that is effective even in low-light shooting. In addition, the new LUMIX S5D camera is equipped with all the popular features of its predecessor, including a 24.2-megapixel full-frame 35mm CMOS sensor that boasts a wide dynamic range and high-sensitivity performance, and delivers crystal-clear video with a maximum sensitivity of ISO 51200 thanks to Dual Native ISO technology.
