Images with HDF enabled are noticeably softer and have an emphasis on highlights, resulting in a more nostalgic look reminiscent of film photography or vintage movies. The default setting of the Fn button enables or disables HDF. This model also features a dark silver shutter button to distinguish it from previous GR series models. Finally, the new firmware allows up to three white balance settings to be pre-programmed as a basic white balance.
