Canon Pellix
The Canon Pellix was an unusual 35mm SLR camera. Introduced in 1965, it was Canon’s first 35mm focal plane shutter SLR camera with metering through the lens. The movable mirror normally used in an SLR camera is replaced with a fixed, semi-transparent reflective film. This divides the light coming from the lens into about two thirds towards the film and the rest reflected in the viewfinder.
