Canon EOS R8 Mark II

Canon EOS R8 Mark II is a compact full-frame mirrorless camera designed for travel photography, portraiture, events, reportage, social media content, and hybrid photo/video production. It features a 24.2-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor and, compared with the previous EOS R8, introduces in-body image stabilization with a stated effectiveness of up to 7.5 stops when combined with compatible lenses. The Dual Pixel CMOS AF II system uses intelligent subject recognition and tracking for people, animals, and vehicles, with a registered people priority function designed to help keep selected subjects in focus. Continuous shooting reaches 40 fps with the electronic shutter and includes continuous pre-shooting, capable of capturing images up to approximately half a second before the shutter button is fully pressed. For video, it records up to 4K 60p using 6K oversampling and Full HD up to 180 fps, while also providing creative tools such as color filters, LUT support, Movie Digital IS, and Cinema View 2.35:1 display. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, remote control, wireless file transfer, and USB-C charging. The body measures approximately 131.4 × 90 × 79.7 mm and weighs around 546 g with battery and memory card. Canon EOS R8 Mark II is therefore suitable for users looking for a relatively lightweight full-frame mirrorless camera with built-in stabilization, advanced autofocus, and strong stills and video capabilities while retaining a more compact body than higher-end professional EOS R models.
