The Sony FE 50-150mm f/2.8 G Master is a high-performance full-frame telephoto zoom lens designed to meet the needs of professional photographers and videographers. With a versatile focal range of 50 to 150mm and a constant f/2.8 aperture, it is perfect for portraits, weddings, indoor sports, events and film shooting. The optical design includes 4 advanced aspherical elements (including 2 XA) and 2 ED elements, ensuring extremely high resolution throughout the entire frame, while minimising chromatic aberrations and distortions. The 11-blade circular diaphragm produces a creamy and natural bokeh, enhancing the subject even in the most complex backgrounds. Autofocus is provided by four XD (Extreme Dynamic) linear motors that offer silent, smooth and extremely fast focusing, ideal for tracking during 4K and 8K video. The minimum focusing distance is 0.38 m (at 50 mm) and 0.70 m (at 150 mm), with a maximum magnification ratio of 0.3x. The body is made of magnesium alloy with a dust and moisture resistant structure, while the barrel is designed to maintain a stable centre of gravity, making it perfect for use on a gimbal or video rig. The lens weighs only 1,336g and is compatible with Sony's advanced mirrorless Alpha series AF systems, including Real-time Eye AF and Real-time Tracking.
