Leica Elmarit-M 90mm f/2.8 – Black – Cod 11807

Leica Elmarit-M 90mm f/2.8 Black, code 11807, is a telephoto prime lens for Leica M cameras, belonging to the E46 version introduced in 1990. The 90 mm focal length provides a diagonal angle of view of approximately 27° on the 24 × 36 mm format and is particularly suitable for portraiture, reportage, travel photography, and detail shots. The f/2.8 maximum aperture allows good subject separation while maintaining relatively compact dimensions. The optical design consists of 4 elements in 4 groups, all air-spaced, while the diaphragm stops down to f/22. Focusing is fully manual and rangefinder-coupled for Leica M cameras, with a minimum focusing distance of 1 meter. The lens accepts E46 filters and features a built-in telescopic retractable lens hood. The black version, code 11807, features a metal construction with a Black finish and weighs approximately 410 g, with a length of about 76 mm. Its compact design, medium-telephoto focal length, and compatibility with the Leica M system make the Leica Elmarit-M 90mm f/2.8 a suitable option for users looking for a fast and relatively lightweight manual telephoto lens for film or digital photography.
