Nikon FM2 (Silver)

The Nikon FM2 is a fully mechanical 35mm SLR SLR with interchangeable lenses. It was produced from 1982 until 2001 by Nikon with a body in two versions: black with chrome edges or completely black. The excellent shutter speeds range from 1 second up to 1/4000 s plus B pose. The x-sync for the flash is 1/200 s. The FM2 is a rugged, fully manual camera, no automatics. The only battery present is the one for the exposure meter; shooting is always possible, the loss of a photo is practically impossible because the FM2 performs excellently even in extreme situations, from the pole to the equator and the desert. The shutter curtains are made of metal (titanium in the first versions, aluminium in the Nikon FM2n models after 1988), the exposure meter is simple and of good quality, the manual focusing system is precise. Combined with its motor (MD-12) it becomes a highly professional camera.
