Profoto OCF Softgrid 2×3 (Honeycomb Grid)

Profoto OCF Softgrid 2x3 is a honeycomb grid designed for the Profoto OCF 2x3’ rectangular softbox. It is used to control light spread, reducing the beam angle to approximately 50° and making the light more directional compared with using the softbox alone. This helps limit side spill, maintain better contrast control, and separate the subject from the background in portrait, fashion, commercial photography, still life, and location productions. The grid attaches to the front of the softbox with a quick mounting system, is made from lightweight fabric, and keeps a foldable format suitable for transport with the rest of the OCF system. It is intended for photographers using Profoto Off-Camera Flash units who need soft but more controlled light, preventing the beam from illuminating unwanted areas of the set. Profoto recommends using OCF accessories with off-camera flash systems equipped with LED modeling lights, not with traditional or compact flash heads that generate more heat.
