Viltrox 20mm f/2.8 FE (Sony E)

The Viltrox AF 20mm f/2.8 is a wide-angle autofocus lens designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras, available for mounts such as Sony E and Nikon Z. The 20mm focal length offers a wide angle of view, making it ideal for landscape, architectural, and interior photography, as well as travel, street photography, and video or vlogging where it is useful to capture a broad section of the scene. The maximum aperture of f/2.8 allows you to work in moderate lighting conditions whilst maintaining a compact and lightweight body, suitable for everyday use and for carrying in essential photography kits. The optical design consists of 10 elements in 8 groups and includes ED, aspherical and high-refractive-index elements, designed to minimise chromatic aberrations, distortion and loss of sharpness at the edges. The autofocus system uses an STM motor, designed to deliver smooth and relatively quiet focusing in both stills and video. The minimum focusing distance is approximately 19 cm, useful for close-up shots with a wide-angle perspective. The lens features a 52 mm filter thread and has dimensions and weight that vary depending on the mount, with the Sony E version measuring approximately 65 × 59.5 mm and weighing 157 g. The Viltrox AF 20mm f/2.8 is a compact and affordable wide-angle solution for users looking for a lightweight prime lens with autofocus and full-frame compatibility, suitable for general-purpose photography and video.
