SmallRig Cage for Sony FX30 / FX3 4138 is designed to protect the camera and provide accessory mounting points. The modular cage consists of a NATO rail and a U-shaped cage. The NATO rail is fixed at the top by two 1/4"-20 screws and removed to allow installation of the original XLR top handle; the U-shaped cage is fixed by 1/4"-20 screws on both sides and at the bottom to prevent twisting, with a cushion against scratches. At the battery door is a hinged arm that adapts to the curve of the camera for a better gripping experience for the little finger. A dedicated HDMI cable clamp protects the interfaces to ensure stable signal transmission. Among the various accessory mounts, 1/4"-20 holes support Magic Arm 2070; 3/8"-16 ARRI positioning holes connect Top Handle 2165C or Monitor Mount 2903B; Top NATO rail supports Top Handle 3322 and Left Side Handle 2187B; 1/4"-20 locating holes in the top left quarter and on the left side connect Rod Clamp 3598 to follow focus; two 1/4"-20 holes on the right side allow secure mounting on a quick release plate for vertical shooting; cold shoe mount supports microphone, LED light; and QD port at bottom fits QD strap. An Arca-Swiss quick-release plate at the bottom can directly connect DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro or a quick-release plate (height increase bearing) for DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 gimbal and quick-release plate type Arca 3154. Both sides and the bottom have holes for possible shoulder straps. Also included is a magnetic Allen key for easy assembly and disassembly.
