Sony A7R VI

Sony A7R VI is a high-resolution full-frame mirrorless camera with Sony E mount, designed for professional photography, landscape, portrait, still life, wildlife, events, and hybrid photo/video production. It features a new approximately 66.8 MP effective full-frame stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor, paired with the BIONZ XR2 processor with integrated AI processing unit, a combination intended to deliver high detail, faster sensor readout, and advanced autofocus performance. The camera supports a stated dynamic range of up to 16 stops and 5-axis in-body image stabilization up to 8.5 stops at the center of the frame, useful for handheld shooting and situations requiring maximum definition. The AI-based subject recognition autofocus system enables tracking of people, animals, birds, vehicles, and other subjects, while electronic continuous shooting reaches up to 30 fps with AF/AE tracking. For video, Sony A7R VI records up to 8K 30p and 4K 120p, with 4:2:2 10-bit sampling, advanced color profiles, and functions suited to hybrid production workflows. The body includes a high-resolution OLED electronic viewfinder, dual slots compatible with SD and CFexpress Type A cards, USB-C connectivity, and a new NP-SA100 battery, which is not backward compatible with the previous NP-FZ100.
